OUR MISSION

To Fulfill the Great Commission by way of the
Great Commandment

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

TO BUILD A HEALTHY, DIVERSE FAMILY OF SPIRIT-EMPOWERED BELIEVERS THAT LOVE GOD, CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER AND IMPACT OUR WORLD THROUGH RELEVANT MINISTRY.

OUR CORE VALUES

JESUS: IS OUR MESSAGE The purpose of Cornerstone Church is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. We are Jesus people, not religious people. As our church grows and our methods change, the message will always remain the same. John 3:16, John 14:6, 2 Corinthians 5:21

PEOPLE: ARE OUR HEART Our heart is for ALL people. All people are loved by Jesus. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far away from God. We desire to bring the broken home at all costs. We believe that our light is best seen in the night. Matthew 28:19, John 15:12-13, John 13:34

PRAYER: IS OUR FOUNDATION Prayer helps us become more like Jesus and be one with God. Our prayers move the heart of God. We choose to go to God first. Prayer is our first response, not a last resort. Philippians 4:6-7, Jeremiah 29:12, 2 Chronicles 7:14

GENEROSITY: IS OUR PRIVILEGE Generosity is about giving more than what is required. We see generosity as a privilege. We're generous with our time, talents, and treasure. We go first in our giving. God has given richly towards us; it's our honor to give back to Him. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, 2 Corinthians 9:11, Luke 6:38

EXCELLENCE: IS OUR STANDARD We are going to always do the best with what we have. We're on time, engaged and prepared. We don't do things halfway. If we're going to do it, it's to the best of our ability. Colossians 3:17, Colossians 3:23-24, Galatians 6:9

SERVANT LEADERSHIP: IS OUR IDENTITY If you're too big to serve, then you are too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different, but they are all important. Mark 10:45, John 12:26, Romans 12:11

HONOR: IS OUR CALLING We are vocal with our honor, meaning that we are not stingy with our words. We honor God and our leadership. We joyfully choose to submit to those God has placed over us and honor and care for those God has placed under us to serve. Romans 12:10, 1 Peter 2:17, 1 Timothy 5:17

PASSION: IS OUR PURSUIT Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our serving, we do it with Holy Spirit energy. Passion drives us: passion for Jesus, passion for people, and passion for His church. We are passionate people. Romans 12:11, John 2:17, Colossians 3:23
